I actually really like ironing. Weird, I know. I'm sort of anal about it, too. I've even been known to iron sheets.
This saying by Erma Bombeck has always been one of my favorites!
LOL! I iron every night while I make dinner, I usually only get through three garments, but it helps keep the pile to three feet high.
My very favorite ironing companion is the mini ironing board that fits on my counter from IKEA.
My policy on ironing is on an as needed basis only. This drives Zach crazy but I refuse to devote any floor space to an ironing pile. I hang wrinkly clothes, and then people just need to have a little foresight as to what they are wearing in the morning and get me the items the night before. It works great for me, not so great for those without foresight.
Speaking of ironing, I have this "clothes to iron" pile in my closet that I get to every year or so. Today, I noticed a pair of capris that I had completely forgotten about sitting in the bottom of my heap. Bummer too...they're cute and now summer's over!
