Easy, Unique Wall Art for Your Home

I always love inexpensive, inventive ideas for decorating and sprucing up the house. When I found this idea, I bookmarked it for future reference. The squares are styrofoam blocks covered with scrapbook paper and ribbon around the edges. Think of the possibilities with all the cute scrapbook paper lines out there! I'll be trying this for sure. Here's the link with the instructions.

You have solved my naked wall issue! I think I will print some 8x8 photos of each kid and glue in the middle. I have yucky plaster walls and don't hang anything because it just makes huge holes and chunks out of the plaster. These would be light enough to just use that command stuff or something! I can hardly wait to get started!!!!!!!

Wow! What a great idea! I like Kelly's idea too, using her kids pictures.

I am going to do this in the playroom with the kids art work.

I am SO EXCITED that you showed us this... I am just painting Alyssa's new room and want to hang some "pre-teen" type stuff on the wall. This would just look so cute in there. Her colors are turquois, lime green and brown... they dont sound cute together but they look really cute... I am going to try this.

AGAIN... you are amazing! You should charge for your ideas!

I love the thought, but I think it needs one more step to finish it like a clear coat or something. I think if it looks like paper in the end and doesn't have some sort of sheen, it wouldn't look finished. You know? So come up with that last step and you have me sold. It does look awesome from that picture.
